Jim was born on July 27, 1943 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on September 2, 2024 in West Monroe, Louisiana. Jim retired as a District Chief with the Ouachita Parish Fire Department after 29 years of service. He received multiple awards and commendations for his service during that time.
